When we moved, the movers broke the glass shades on two cheap IKEA lamps. I didn't want to just chuck them and the House needed some supplemental lighting. without knowing what kind of base would fit these lamps, I decided to go with this solution and two "white linen drum shade" with the spider attachment. everything worked as expected, and now we have two more lamps that otherwise we would have had. is the clip on the adapter attachment to spider drum shade
